Monument to the newlyweds

The Lovers' Square is one of the most popular squares in Krasnoyarsk. This place is difficult to call an area, since it is small in area and located in front of the corporation building. This city facility was opened in 2005. The main attraction of the square was a unique sculptural composition - a monument to the newlyweds, the opening of which gathered a large number of residents and guests of Krasnoyarsk. There is a monument near the Right-Bank Palace of Culture.


The solemn installation of the monument on the Square of Lovers was carried out in 2012. The monument to the newlyweds is made in the form of sculptures of the bride and groom on the day of the solemn event - the wedding. The girl is dressed in a wedding dress and holds a bouquet of flowers in hands, the young man is dressed in a dress.



Near the monument there are several benches for rest and a small playground is broken. In the summer in the Square of Lovers there are many married couples with children, where they like to spend their free time. The monument to the newlyweds is one of the most interesting art objects of modern Krasnoyarsk.

A monument to the continuity of generations Directions from the Institute is presented in the screenshot: The sculptural composition "Continuity of generations" was officially opened on the day of the air fleet on August 14, 2004. The initiative to create the monument belongs to the company "KrasAir". The ensemble was installed on the air terminal street, near the old airport. The winner of the competition was the project of the Vice-President of the Union of designers of Russia Andrey Efimov. The President of the Academy of arts, sculptor Eduard Drobitsky and honored artist of the Russian Federation Yuri Zlotya worked on the implementation of his ideas. Monument to children of war Directions from the Institute is presented in the screenshot: For the celebration of the 60th anniversary of victory in world war II on 7 may 2005 was a monument to children of war in Krasnoyarsk. The monument has an unusual fate, because its establishment was achieved for almost 9 years. The society "blockade" proposed the idea of the monument in 1996. In 2001, the Company collected 2,500 rubles, and it needed 500,000. The city Treasury allocated 200,000 rubles (only for paving stones), but this was not enough. They needed more money and announced the collection (donation) of money among the local residents of Krasnoyarsk.
